How Does It All Work?

No. You don't need to find another owner who wants your vehicle at exactly the same time you want theirs. When another member uses your vehicle, you can choose Cash, Travel Credits, or a mix of both. Travel Credits can then be used towards another eligible vehicle in the CampervanX network.

Travel Credits are CampervanX platform credits that can be used towards eligible CampervanX bookings. 1 Travel Credit = £1 of eligible CampervanX booking value. Credits can be earned by sharing your vehicle or received through eligible promotional awards. Travel Credits are not cash and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Your Travel Wallet is where your CampervanX Travel Credits are held. When you choose to receive Travel Credits from sharing your vehicle, or receive eligible promotional Credits, they're added to your Travel Wallet. You can then use those Credits towards eligible vehicles across the CampervanX network.
Yes. When your vehicle is shared, you choose how you receive the eligible booking value — as Cash, Travel Credits, or a mix of both, subject to CampervanX platform rules and the booking.
Yes. Subject to eligibility and availability, Travel Credits belong to you, not the type of vehicle you own. Credits earned from sharing your campervan could therefore be used towards an eligible motorhome or 4x4 adventure vehicle — and vice versa.
Yes. You choose when your vehicle is available, keep your own travel dates free and review booking requests before confirming a trip. You remain in control of when you share.
CampervanX membership is £10, paid when you make your first booking. Traveller booking fees are separate and reduce as the duration of your trip increases.

Every eligible trip will require the appropriate insurance or protection to be in place before handover. CampervanX's handover process will also provide a record of vehicle condition, photos, mileage and other relevant information.
The applicable protection and claims process will depend on the cover arranged for that trip.
Commercial rental partners can list multiple campervans, motorhomes or 4x4 adventure vehicles and use CampervanX to reach new travellers and fill otherwise empty rental days.
